Brenda is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. She began her healthcare career as a 2-year volunteer at Hospice of the Valley. After dedicating her time helping the seriously/terminally ill, she decided to pursue an education in nursing where she could provide a more hands on and personal approach to patient care. In addition to her clinical experience, she also has an outstanding academic background.
Brenda attended Chamberlain University where she graduated Cum Laude receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing. While working full time at a large hospital on a Neuro unit, she returned to Chamberlain University to complete, and graduate with honors with her Master of Science in Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner.
Brenda is a member of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners, American Nurses Association, and was inducted into Sigma Theta Tau, the International Honor Society of Nursing.
Brenda’s goal is to prudently serve, and care for patients in the healthcare industry, providing compassionate, timely, and trustworthy care for patients of all ages. She likes to build professional relationships with her patients, and colleagues, while providing care with a comprehensive, and holistic approach, treating not only the patient physically, but treating their emotional and spiritual needs as well.
In her spare time, she loves spending time with her husband of 23 years, and their two children. She is originally from Georgia, but Brenda and her husband have resided in Arizona for almost 19 years. She and her husband enjoy traveling, weekend getaways, watching football, and spending time with their children and family.
